Padawan tops September Bowler of the Month

The lanes were alive with energy and excitement yesterday as 28 bowlers battled it out in the latest CETBA Bowler of the Month tournament. Emerging at the top of the leaderboard was Aui Padawan, who delivered an outstanding series of games to claim 1st place honors.

Bowling with a handicap of 20, Aui showcased consistency and composure with impressive scores of 211, 194, 210, 180, and 198, securing his well-earned title for the month.

Hot on his heels was Ging Francisco, who grabbed 2nd place with a handicap of 23. Ging rolled a solid set of scores: 179, 160, 169, 193, and 206, demonstrating steady improvement throughout the series.

Taking 3rd place was Vivian Padawan, whose high handicap of 44 helped bolster her scores of 166, 157, 163, 152, and 153, proving that every pin counts in the final tally.

Cherry Sarmiento landed in 4th place with a handicap of 41. She started strong with a 189 and ended her run with games of 166, 134, 144, and 144, holding on to a top-five finish.

Rounding out the top five finishers was Ronan Barredo, who claimed 5th place. With the lowest handicap among the top five at 10, Ronan showed power early with a 239, but faced tougher frames in later games: 179, 239, 162, 199, and 139.

👩 Ladies’ Division Highlights:

Among the seven female bowlers who participated, Vivian Padawan stood out as the Bowler of the Month for September champion, topping the Ladies’ Division with her excellent showing.

🥇 Vivian Padawan – Proved her dominance by clinching 1st place among the ladies.

🥈 Cherry Sarmiento – Followed closely and secured 2nd place, showing strong early form.

🥉 Sylvia Tesch – Earned a solid 3rd place finish, rounding out a competitive field in the women’s bracket.
