HANDICAP SYSTEM

CETBA HANDICAP SYSTEM

CETBA uses averaging system which is being re-calculated every after weekly game schedule. Each bowler’s handicap is determined from his/her latest 50 games or less average. This then will be referred to the Bracket for Handicap.

CETBA also applies Minimum Threshold System to eliminate sandbagging by bowler who would want to drop their average intentionally in order to get bigger handicap for the tournament with bigger purse. The minimum thresholds are 155 and 165 for the ladies and men respectively. If the bowler scores below 155 and 165 for ladies and men respectively, they will have their scores replaced with the respective minimum threshold during the re-calculation of average.
